Tailored to your needs

Two classes of machines differing in the useful width of the conveyor belt, GNP 70 (700mm) and GNP 80 (830mm).

The GNP 70 has an optional integrated sight-side calibration/grinding unit in the same structure, with 3-5 fixed mechanical- pressure heads that provide vibration- free calibration before the polishing stage. In the GNP 80, this calibration unit is a separate machine (see technical diagram).

Up to 12 pneumatic polishing heads mounted on the GNP 70 on a monolithic and sturdy mobile bridge; up to 16 on the GNP 80.

The width of the stroke is adjustable according to the format to be processed.

Engineered FOR EXCELLENT RESULTS

Calibrating heads raised/lowered by electromechanical system; polishing pressure is pneumatic.
Transversally mobile beam along which the polishing heads are arranged.
The Frankfurt-holder plate is fixed to the spindle through an elastic joint for an excellent adaptation to the tile surface.
Cooling water fed through an axial cavity in the spindle itself and also by a radial distribution on the diamond-tipped heads.
Centralized, programmed automatic lubrication by pump of all concerned points.
Belt speed is 1–6 m/min.

Robust, safe and easy to use

Tiles held in position by stainless steel guides.
Conveyor belt made of multi-layer PVC, sliding on replaceable anti-wear steel plates.
Access doors are made from thick aluminium sheeting, with safety control devices that interrupt the electrical feed when they are opened.
Each head is provided with its own control panel.
Special device for creating a small gap between consecutive tiles when entering the machine.
